Donate towards Scott’s Pinktober Challenge

This month Redhotblue’s Charity pick is the Cancer Council Pink Ribbon campaign. As usual Redhotblue wanted to do something fun and no better man than our newest graphic designer, Scott. We really want to raise as much money as possible before October 25th so we are encouraging clients, suppliers, friends and members of the public to donate even a small amount towards our fundraising campaign. Our donation page can be found here –

Through social media alone, we have already reached our initial target of $200 for Scott to dye his hair pink. Now we are looking for suggestions on what crazy challenge we can do if we reach $500. Please contact us with your suggestions for Jody, Scott, or even the whole crew to take part in.

Although Scott first jumped at the challenge whole-heartedly, as our first $200 target has been reached, the reality of life with newly pink hair has started to sink in! We caught up with him to see how he is feeling….

Have you ever dyed your hair a crazy girly colour before? Erm, no!! I dyed it for a party once many years ago – but definitely NOT pink!!!

What are you looking forward to most about the challenge? It growing out!!! That and raising some money for such a great cause – cancer awareness.

What do you think the reaction is going to be from your housemates/general public? It’ll give my housemates a good laugh, which is fair enough considering it’s going to be pink! As for the general public, not sure yet, I walk everywhere or get the bus so it’s going to be interesting – we’ll find out in a couple of weeks I guess!

Are you going to let it grow out or just shave it all after a week? Not sure yet.. I wouldn’t hear the end of it from the redhotblue team if I shaved it out straight away, so I’ll definitely leave it for a while.. but I guess it depends on the previous question!!

Are you going to start singing Pink songs around the office? Let’s hope not!! If for no other reason than I’m a terrible singer.

All the office crew are getting involved, with pink nails and maybe some wigs and feather boas will make an appearance. Maybe we will pop on a Pink CD during the day and leave it to the professionals!
