Media Release: The QLD Multi Media Award goes to…


The award for Best Advertising Campaign in Print goes to… Redhotblue!

With fierce competition, the campaign created by redhotblue for Phil Doring Insurance Brokers came out on top at the recent Queensland Multi Media Awards.

The concept development and design of the campaign was led by redhotblue’s creative director, Scott Turner.

“By avoiding cliché imagery and un-engaging headlines it broke the conformity of a standard hard sell insurance tactic for one of understanding, trust and honesty,” said Mr Turner.

“By using humour as a catalyst for the visual language and a left field approach in the delivery we were able to connect the public to this concept.”

The campaign went to print in September 2014 and continues to feature in, Industry Hub monthly, a billboard, digital billboards inside Mackay Airport and OUTthere Magazine.

Jody Euler, director of Redhotblue stated, “Winning this award has been a nice way to finish out 2014 and has given some inspiration for the things to come in the New Year, along with recognition for our creative work on this campaign.”
