Founded by Trudy Crowley, Nude Lunch was a charity long lunch event established in Mackay, that was delivered annually from 2016 to 2020. The charity’s mission was to raise much needed funds and awareness for ovarian cancer and ovarian cancer research. With over 75% of women being diagnosed with ovarian cancer at an advanced stage, Nude Lunch highlighted the importance of early detection, especially in regional areas where there are few dedicated resources.

Redhotblue played an integral role in all aspects of the brand’s development, design, advertising, marketing, and event management; from the inception of the event’s name to working with key stakeholders. Our team worked to create a distinct identity for the annual event that was both memorable and effective. During the 2020 pandemic, redhotblue helped pivot the in-person lunch format to a filmed online event that developed national recognition and surpassed donation targets.

With redhotblue’s support, Nude Lunch saw over $400,000 donated to both local Mackay organisations and larger national charities.
